Game of Thrones Season 5: How I feel so far

Hey there,

It has been six episodes into season 5 of Game of Thrones and to be honest, nothing has really happened? Well until the last scene of episode six.

DISCLAIMER: IF YOU HAVEN'T WATCHED THE EPISODES, PLEASE LEAVE. Unless you're okay with the spoilers :D

Well, I'm pretty disappointed that Bran hasn't shown up at all in this season. I mean he's really cute and has really awesome three eyed raven powers and he hasn't appeared. Plus, he is growing up really really fast so by the time he comes back, he's going to be a lot taller (with a bigger nose too haha).

But anyway, Arya has proven herself to be useful to the House of Black and White. She has been pretty hardworking in becoming 'no one' and is sick of washing dead bodies without knowing where they go next. But Jaqen tells her: "A girl is not ready to become no one, but she is ready to become someone else" (pulls confetti strings and celebrates). Hahaha kidding, but yeah I felt so happy for her. Her lying skills are really good but I know that deep down, she's a really thoughtful and smart girl. Yay to my favourite Stark girl.

To all my Dany fans, I have to say, this season isn't doing much justice for her because:

Firstly, what is a dragon queen without her dragons? Her dragons have officially become monsters... Except well, maybe Drogon who is dro-gone. Hahaha I'm sorry, I had to, especially after seeing a meme of that.

Secondly, what is a queen without subjects who love her? She made the wrong move in beheading one of the slaves, who are one of their own. As in, she freed the slaves and made them love her in the first place. So by beheading one of them, the rest will just start to hate her.

Moving on to Tyrion, who murdered his father last season and is trying to escape but got kidnapped by Jorah to be used as a tribute for Daenerys. I'm also quite sad because he was so hilarious in the past seasons, but this season there hasn't been much character development for him because he's just ruffled and stranded everywhere.

I feel really bad for Jorah though. He contracted Greyscale while protecting his captive (Tyrion) from the crazy Greyscale people who attacked their boat. Greyscale is definitely not a disease to be trifled with because even though Stannis managed to save Shireen from dying of Greyscale, she is only one out of the millions who lose their minds before they lose their lives because of the dreadful disease.

And oh my god, I can't describe how much I hate Cersei freaking Lannister. She is so cunning. She actually landed Queen Margaery in jail. I mean how could she... she actually jailed Margaery's brother for being gay when she herself has obviously sinned because of incest. I mean, COME ON. I can't wait for Granny Tyrell to whoop Cersei's sorry ass over. Plus, she sent her poor lover/brother Jaime to the House of Martell in Dorne to retrieve his niece/daughter for Cersei. She is so horrible.

There are still countless of things that happened like Jon Snow being lord commander of the nights watch, King Tommen being a spineless boy and the sand snakes trying to be badass (I mean who gives s f*** about them?? I'm sorry) etc. that I find not as significant to me. But there is one thing that everyone is talking about... that is obviously, the last scene of season 5 episode 6.

The rise of Lord Commander, Jon Snow

I mean, why the hell did the producers have to make Ramsay rape Sansa on their wedding night. I mean yes, couples normally make love to each other on their wedding night, but obviously Sansa didn't want it because well, she has preserved her virginity for so long. But then again, she asked for it... Don't get me wrong, I love Sansa and the Starks but despite Myranda/Miranda warning her about how Ramsay can be such a saddist jerk, Sansa still went ahead to marry him simply because Winterfell is her home.

ooh burn

Book readers also said that that scene was totally unnecessary because it was not mentioned in the books at all. Well, the producers probably wanted more shock factor like during the 'Red Wedding' when everyone basically went into shock after that episode. I really hated that episode... But anyway, just to be neutral and calm about Sansa, Theon got it worse from Ramsay alright... What could beat having his genitals chopped off and being tortured daily and kept with the dogs?

Moral of the story: Ramsay is a dick and he is the next Joffrey whom everyone loved so dearly. Can't wait for Stannis to arrive and wipe out the Boltons. Stannis is taking so long though... And yes I really don't like the Boltens. I mean Roose (Ramsay's dad) betrayed and killed Robb Stark like wtfffff. I still can't get over it. Like father like son indeed.

Yup that pretty much sums up what I feel as of now. Hopefully Sansa gains more power and Stannis kills the Boltons. Actually I kinda wish Theon can get rid of Ramsay himself... after all that he's been through, he's had enough. I just hope that the plot gets better instead of worse. And I heard Jon Snow is going to die in episode 10 :'(. I really hope that will not happen but hais, a show is a show. Sigh.

So yeah, let's continue waiting for the next episode! (only 4 more episodes to the end of season 5 omg)

Cheers,
Yun Rong
