Pretty Hair

Hey Fabulous,

Do you hate the fact that everyone sticks to just one hairstyle all the time? Well, me too. It's pretty boring but maybe it's because of Singapore's humid weather. Many have problems with curling their hair with curling irons/straighteners, saying that the curls won't hold for more than an hour. Omg, I feel you. My hair is so stubbornly straight and flat! Despite this unfortunate situation, I still try ways to change my hairstyle here and there. So recently, Korean hairstyles are really trendy and it suits us Asians :). Their effortlessly wavy Korean waves are so adorable and gentle. But trust me, it is not effortless at all! It takes hard work for such pretty hair.

Korean buns and geek spectacles has also been super trendy over the past year. I bought new geek specs just to attain this look ^^. But somehow, Singaporeans still look different from Koreans in terms of style and facial features too.. maybe its because of the weather in Singapore too, all our pores are forced to be opened :'(. Oh well.

Even in Japan, their hair and dressing is so pretty. Their culture is also slightly different from us, where before they leave the house, they will actually spend a lot of time and effort into ensuring that their hair and make up is perfect. They also dress up in many gorgeous layers too (our weather T.T). Even though, we are lacking a little bit on the effort in styling part, we have our good points too. Such as being all summer-ish, laid back and casual. But then again, it's always good to dress up and look good. So I've tried curling my hair in different ways to see which one looks better and holds up stronger.

So after trying different methods of curling (tying a bun, curling iron, straightener), I've concluded that if you want a very tight and bouncy kind of curl, definitely use a curling iron. If you want a subtle or less defined type of curl, or you want different frequencies of curls in which you can control, then use a straightener. If you want just a messy bed hair look, tie a bun at least an hour before and use hair spray after. But for me, the best way to secure the curls is to tie a bun overnight, release it in the morning then proceed to use a straightener to curl the parts that needs touch up. Remember to use hair spray and heat protecting products for your hair!

Valentine's Day ♥ (Late Post)

Hey Fabulous,

It's the season of love once again... Valentine's Day a.k.a Single Awareness Day, was very well spent this year. Went out with Jun Keat, my long lost brother/cousin (because we look alike in some angles). Yes, we have been shipped together countless of times. I think we are rather used to it already haha. We spent the day at Vivo City in the afternoon, JCube and West Gate at night. Basically we spent the whole day on the bus, chatting and taking pictures every where. Yup, that was what we did the entire time. It was rather enjoyable actually hurhur.

Anyway, here's a Valentine's Day fun fact for you:

Red roses are considered the flower of love because juggling the letters of the word 'rose' would result in 'EROS', who is the God of Love ♥.

The hardest part of MCM Year 1.2 (RANT)

Dear Fabulous,

As you know, I have been faced with countless of problems during this semester, but the hardest one was of course the problematic group members. In Gracomm and Marcomm. It is really so hard because they were once my close friends. Ok, not both, just one. It's frustrating. Even though they were given chances since 5-6 months ago, they just take advantage of this friendship. It's just so unfair to the point we had to fight for the justice of all the hardwork by peer evaluation. Never show up for group discussions and when there are even group discussions, they just sit by using their laptops for God knows what! And then tells us that they never tell them to do anything. Fucking piece of shit, where the fuck are your proactiveness? That is part of being in a fucking team! Ungrateful bastard, still arguing about how we neglect them and how unfair I am by rejecting their ideas when they spoke up. I wasn't rejecting, I was suggesting otherwise because it was clearly not up to standard! Look at all the half-assed jobs they have done. How do you expect us to trust that they won't do it again. Hold on, they won't even do anything! Now they complain about how we peer evaluate them to take away something of theirs, wow, just wow. How about the countless sleepless nights we had? And all the time we spent covering their asses? Ever thought about that? Taking away our health, sleep and brain cells. Have they read the article on how women need more sleep? Fucking hell, while you guys are sleeping peacefully or doing leisure activities, what are we doing? Covering your asses. How do we even trust you all to do a good job and give us an A instead of a fucking D. Piece of shit. They complain now, but when we get an A for our final project, they would just quietly drift off like as though nothing ever happened. YES, nothing ever happened you fools, because they have done nothing. In the end, we are the ones at loss. So what if we get and A, they got it too by doing nothing (less than 5% of the work). Can I just kill him? Realised how I just used singular and not plural form now? It is too unjust. I wouldn't even consider him a friend to begin with. All he does is talk about how he fucks girls up, drinking and smoking. Does he even think that those factors are turn-ons? Well, he thought wrong. If he kept his mouth shut the entire time, he might actually be slightly decent. But now he's just a big fat ungrateful son of a bitch. He's going to contract HIV soon. Just wait.

Super late Chinese New Year post

 Day 1

This is my outfit for Day 1! Well, I have to say it is pretty simple compared to what my sister wore. She wore a chiong sam. Legit chiong sam. Come, let me show you...

There you go! Never really see people who still wear chiong sams these days. She bought it online too, lucky. I promise to buy a very loud and bling dress for next year's CNY. This is a promise to myself!

Day 2. 

Too simple. I have no idea why but this year I just didn't have the feel to buy new clothes. Hence, the simple 'new' year clothes. Next year will be better! I hope. Wait till then alright :). Went to check the horoscope signs for this year, since this year is the year of the horse, it won't be very smooth sailing for rats (me). Well, I just hope for the best and pray that even though it isn't smooth sailing, it will still be a wonderful year. Yay!

Patricia's ginormous house

That's me chilling at her swimming pool area. 

Hello,

Went to Patricia's house to record the voiceover for our project and, I have to say, her house is so so so damn big. It's cray I swear. Note that the pictures I'm posting here is not all the facilities that she has! There's a lot more.. like a home theater, a traditional Japanese-style living room with Tatami (japanese mat), a huge ass balcony and more. I'll let the rest of the pictures do the talking.

So with all these, I conclude that she's my richest friend so far. I can't imagine myself to live in such a big and luxurious house though. But I think it'll be pretty amazing even though cleaning up the house would take forever. Oh well. Would love to go back and visit her house at Sentosa Cove again!
