Hello there,
Felt a sense of nostalgia while listening to my fave Paramore songs (it was like I was still in the 2011 concert) and decided that I needed a karaoke sesh with my girl Joelle since she likes Paramore too.
We went to K Suites at Orchard Parade Hotel. As students, they charged us $18 each for three hours of karaoke and a drink. I found the price pretty ok I guess since we had such a huge room. They even provided blankets and bedroom slippers LOL. We had a great time of course... started of with Paramore then Demi Lovato, Panic! At the Disco, Rihanna, Zedd, Evanescence, Avril Lavigne and many more. Tbh three hours isn't a long time.
Was gonna visit one of our course mates at Barbershop at Timbre because she was gonna perform there but the place was so crammed and lacking (no waiters to serve us food) so we left for substation's Timbre and it was awesome. Ordered a weird looking pizza but it turned out pretty darn amazing. The base was like cheese and duck and it was topped with crispies and hoi sin sauce (the sauce that goes with crispy duck in Chinese restaurants). It's so Chinese and I love it. I also ordered beer and Joelle ordered two drinks: apple juice and Shirley Temple (refreshing lime juice mixed with something else).
Here are some of the pics Joelle helped to take along the way featuring my mother's vintage Hard Rock Cafe oversized denim jacket hehehe:

Valentine's Day???
Hello there,
After this, I went to the airport with Clare and fetched my girl Valencia who just came back from her 6-month internship at Cambodia!!! I've been texting her like every single day for the past six months. You have no idea how we've been so committed to each other... Her mother even thought I was her boyfriend (mainly cuz Yun Rong is a unisex name, don't judge). Just nice she arrive on Valentine's Day too... So romantic.
Well after being a journalist for six months, I finally appreciate the joy of writing a blog post - I don't have to care about grammar and accuracy wooooo. Feels gr8.
Anyway, judging from the title of this post, you must be wondering if I accidentally punched in three question marks. No, I was genuinely puzzled.
I wanted to go out and shoot lower seletar reservoir before I lend my camera to my girl Stefanie. So I asked my homie Junkeat out on Sunday since it was already Friday? Gosh I can't even remember but it was towards the end of my internship so that weekend was the only time we were free. And bam, it was Valentine's Day. I guess I was happy? Better to spend Vday out than at home on my Macbook right?
Turns out lower seletar reservoir is actually pretty small with nothing much to photograph so we ended up taking more selfies. Also, before we took our solo pics, it started drizzling. So each of us had only like 10 frames each? Talk about supermodel skills man. Here are the pics:

End of Internship // Clubbing
Hello,
Was pretty much writing or interviewing people every day. I covered the general elections' polling day, haze, transgender issues, child sexual abuse cases, robbery etc. It was hella fun but I'm glad it's over too so I can chill and travel.
The smell of freedom was so invigorating... My squad and I went to Club Kyo on our last day of internship because... we can. Thanks to Joelle for inviting us because her uncle was DJ-ing that night.
Everything went well until the next morning where I felt like shit. Then I realised that I shouldn't have drunk a pint of beer, followed by whisky coke, a shot of I don't know what, vodka sprite and gin sprite. What a bad idea I know... But that night I really forgot that we can't mix alcohol. Plus it felt really good and the high lasted for a good amount of time. Oh well, it was still damn fun with the A+ company I had.
Yay, cheers to #nomorepoly and here comes #bangkokblock!!!
