Day Out With My Girls // Seoul Garden and Brotzeit adventure

Hello!

So, my study buddies and I decided to go for a feast on the 18th of September (Thursday) to sort of celebrate the holidays and reward ourselves before getting our results the next day (noooo).

Seoul Garden adventure
We met at Takashimaya at around 6.20pm, just in time for our reservation at Seoul Garden at 6.30pm. Surprisingly, it was pretty empty. A reservation wasn't really neccessary. Well, to me the price per person sucks, its around like $31 which I feel is quite unforgiving. But nonetheless, we went in to have a good time and eat till our stomachs explode. It's all about the company right?

We asked for two tables where one is the non-spicy: Joanna and Joelle table and the other is the spicy table: Ashley, Cheryl, Stefanie and I. We ordered Ginseng Chicken soup and Tomyam Soup. I love how all of us absolutely love and adore beef. We took so much beef, I can't even remember how many plates we've consumed.

On the other hand, oh dear lord, their sushis sucked big time. It was unfresh and horrible. It tastes exactly like NTUC sushi when it is about to close. Terrible.

But other than the atrocious sushi, the rest were pretty fresh. I liked their vegetables hahaha.

Oh dear, when all of out tummies were so full and eating dessert, Ashley was still eating her beef and pouring more soup. Her stomach is truly a bottomless pit.

After three hours of eating, we finally left the place. Can't describe how bloated we felt.

My beautiful girls. Break after Seoul Garden and before Brotzeit
Brotzeit Adventure
After our amazing food fiesta at Seoul Garden, we decided to take a few selfies and head over to Somerset 313 for a few drinks at the awesome German beer place: Brotzeit.

So sorry if I didn't take many photos because I really didn't think of posting it because it was so dark already.

When we were there, Ashley, Joanna and I all ordered the Hefe - Weissbier. Apparently it is the No.1 beer in Germany so we decided to give it a go. Stefanie, Cheryl and Joelle ordered two bottles of weird ass beer I've never heard of.

So our drinks arrived and I was really happy with my beer, it tasted amazing. It tasted better than any beer I've ever tasted (which isn't a lot actually). I tasted the two bottles Stef, Cheryl and Joelle ordered and it was horrible. Hahaha I'm not sure if we're drinking it right but, it really tasted like satan's piss. We had a great night anyway, chatting and laughing, enjoying the chill night life.

Finally, it was time to head home. As usual, my face was flushed. I kinda find it annoying that I'd turn red every time I drink. But oh well.

Overall, I had such a fun time with my girls. It was such great company :)

Gentle Bones EP Launch

HEY!

It's been way too long since I've posted anything. Maybe because nothing much as been going on in my life other than studies and projects as we were approaching the end of the semester. But anyway, Joelle and I went to catch Gentle Bones' concert at Tab on 30 August :) .

It was well deserved considering how we just ended the dreadful MCM 2.1 (yay). So I'll let some of the pictures do the talking. I really need to upgrade to iPhone 6 soon. iPhone 5's camera has been failing me lately...

A not so flattering shot of us and Joel Tan (Gentle Bones).
P/S: Still pissed at the guy who helped us take, should have pressed focus
My favourites were obviously 'Until We Die' and 'Save Me'. He also performed a cover of 'Chocolate' by The 1975. The crowd basically went cray during these three songs. He is really really good by the way. Amazing performance.

So the concert ended and we had to wait probably about 45 minutes to get a picture with him. So annoyed at the guy who helped take the photos. Other people are also probably pissed at him. He had one job, take a nice picture of Gentle Bones and his fans. Anyway, I bought his tote bag and Joelle bought his other shirt. It was a little pricey but oh well. Happy with my tote.

It was a great day and really hope to go for more of these concerts. #supportlocaltalent

Cheers,
